Woodland Revival Series - Hedgelaying Weekend. March 7th and 8th 2026
Learn the beautiful and practical craft of hedgelaying at Future Oak Farm.
Over two days, you will work on both a clean hazel hedge and a more challenging willow hedge. This gives you the confidence to approach hedges of all types on your own land.
You will gain hands-on practice in pleaching, weaving, staking and finishing with binders, while learning how different species behave and how to rejuvenate tired or overgrown hedges.
All tools are provided.
This workshop takes place fully outdoors, so dress warm, waterproof and ready for Donegal weather.
It takes place in Church Hill in County Donegal.
10am - 4pm both days
