Woodland Revival Series - Charcoal and Biochar making 6th June 2026
Make your own charcoal and biochar in a full day of outdoor, hands-on learning at Future Oak Farm.
You will stack and light burn barrels, manage the fire, produce high-quality charcoal for the BBQ and create biochar to enrich your soil.
Expect fire, smoke, learning and a real sense of satisfaction, along with a bag of your own charcoal or biochar to take home.
All tools are provided.
This is a fully outdoor day. Wear older long sleeved clothing, waterproof layers and sturdy boots.
10am - 4pm

It takes place at Casheltown Woods in County Donegal on the shores of Lough Gartan and is in collaboration with Future Oak Farm

So that I know how much extra demand there is and if we can fit another session in this Winter. It will also be useful for next Winter when we will apply for funding to run as many sessions as possible and we can state what the demand was.
