Sycamore Cups

These lovely cups are turned from a 200 year old sycamore tree that came down in Storm Eowyn on my neighbours farm, thankfully missing everything on its way to the ground.

All are turned on a traditional pole lathe, entirely foot powered, and are unique one-offs.

Each is treated with Treatex Hard Wax inside which is a food safe mix of oils and waxes that gives a waterproof finish, they are also heat proof although it is not advised to put boiling water directly into them, rather, let it cool a little before pouring tea/coffee in, or add milk first. I have been using one for my coffee at home from this batch and it works a treat

Please say which one you would like when ordering as they are all unique one-offs.

They all hold a normal cuppa worth of coffee

They are finished with Walnut Oil and Beeswax

Wash in warm soapy water, not dishwasher safe.

Northern Wood Monkey is now resident in the Republic of Ireland.

Since Brexit is has become difficult and expensive to send any items to the UK from Ireland as I am just a small business and the admin and costs are prohibitive. I am occasionally in the UK and it may be possible to send from the UK when I am there, please contact me to discuss.

I can post to the UK from here but the postage costs seem to be around €30 and there may be additional costs from UK customs upon arrival there.
