This was turned from a beautiful piece of Beechwood from the Tyne Valley in Northumberland where I live. The rich golden colours shine through on this unique piece.
It was turned on my bowl lathe, a human powered lathe, using techniques going back almost 2000 years in Britain.
It would make a great fruit or salad bowl, and would grace your table for years to come.
The bowl is 8" (20cm) wide and 2.5" (6.5cm) deep
It is finished with Walnut Oil and Beeswax
Wash in warm soapy water, not dishwasher safe.
