Shrink Pot Coffee Pots

Shrink pots are a clever Scandinavian technique for making containers. A freshly cut birch log is hollowed out, a groove cut for the base at the bottom and as this dries it shrinks onto the base and makes it a tight fit. Then a lid is made and the pot decorated.

These lovely coffee pots stand 21cm tall, 23cm with the handle, and are decorated with traditional milk paints. The lids are a simple twist fit to open and close them. I have checked them all to ensure they will all hold a standard pack of coffee.

Please state which you would like when ordering.

They will make a beautiful addition to your home.
